Biography

JOCELYN "Josie" R. GUIDRY

Ms. Guidry graduated magna cum laude from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in 1993, with a B.A. in English and minors in History and Philosophy. She earned her J.D. from the Paul M. Hebert School of Law at Louisiana State University in 1996.

Ms. Guidry is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi honor society. Since admission to the Bar in 1996, Ms. Guidry's practice has been focused primarily in health care law, and largely devoted to the defense of physicians, dentists, and hospitals in malpractice claims under both the public and private malpractice acts.

The medical issues in her practice have spanned the full spectrum of medical specialties and subspecialties. Ms. Guidry has participated in numerous trials across south Louisiana and has argued hundreds of motions and other court hearings. Her goal is to provide expeditious handling of her clients' business in a cost-efficient manner.

Ms. Guidry is a member of the Covington Bar Association and Twenty-Second Judicial District Inn of Court, Louisiana State Bar Association, and the United States District Courts for the State of Louisiana.
